Saturday August 6, 2016:
It’s here!! Folklorama time!! Once again we will be showcasing our games at the biggest cultural festival in the area. Be sure to come by the Pavilion of Scotland during the week to say hi and check out our “toys” that we throw on Saturday. Then get ready for a noon kick-off to one of the biggest highland games in Manitoba. This is usually our last kick at the can for the season, so all the athletes want to go out on a high note and put on a big show for the hundreds of fans that come watch. The louder the fans get…the better we throw!

MACS will be demonstrating the highland games at the Cook’s Creek Medieval Festival. There will be knights in actual suits of armour, jousting, and lots of food and fun for the whole family. Remember, the highland games originated in 1040 AD., so how much more medieval can you get? Gates open at noon. Check out http://www.immaculate.ca for further info.
